To “[try an] Appletini” is in Stephen Colbert‘s list of Fantasies. Also, in a segment on his show called “Better Know a Lobbyist”, Colbert asks Joe Solmonese, president of the Human Rights Campaign, “Why do gays deserve equal rights? Ten words or less, make one of them appletini.” Solmonese answers, “Well, in this country, all Americans deserve equal rights. …Appletini.”
